i hunted friday morning after 4-6" of snow fell new years eve and I was super excited. threw corn all around the feeder, got in, feeder went off, no deer. 8:45 no deer so i said to hell with it, got out and went to take pictures of the landscape. Got back in the blind at 3 pm after the majority of the snow had melted and all the corn was gone.

I didn't know what to expect but the deer were not moving that morning

For it is not the quarry that we truly seek, but the adventure.

They do not move in it in Dickens county unless they are starving........I have learned to wait until the sun comes out and and the cold temps warm up.......

The snow did change the way the deer came to the feeders when it was snowing. I watched this little guy for a while. Pretty cool.
