The Creedmoor thread and the bashing it takes made me think of this
Give me the old skool 22-250(I own and use 2 of these), there’s a close 2nd or 3rd not hating on others here just saying
It’s great for Texas sized whitetail, pigs, yotes and turkey inside 250
I’ve got a pile to prove it
What’s yours?

An assortment so far!
Which is great, I personally just have a lot of confidence in the 22-250 at my ranges and game
I took at buck at 290 in November that almost took one step. He tried but couldn’t
That’s my furthest

I have killed more total game with the 6x45mm although probably close behind would be 22Creedmoor.
Now if it was just predators it might be the 221Fireball because for a few years that was all I used at night and I killed literally hundreds coyotes /bobcats /Raccoons /fox

I've shot alot of deer with my .22-250 and my .270 but if I had to pick just one caliber it would be my .257 wby mag....in large part because of the rifle its chambered in.
I do love my .270 however
For it is not the quarry that we truly seek, but the adventure.

Easing through the woods with a Win 30-30 is my favorite way to hunt. So that gets my vote.
