The kids must think that we weren't fat enough already, so they gave us an Insta brand air fryer. Might as well test it out on some Idaho French fries then. They turned out pretty good too, especially with MD.



Talking with a friend from Milwaukee the other day about Holiday eats, and we got on a sandwich kick. Hadn't had a really good one of these "Sout Side sangwitches" in a while, with some great giardiniera. Roast beef, onions and peppers, provolone, and veggies. Wow!!




And yes, I did use our fine china again.

Pure greatness.

Love a good Italian Beef sandwich. Portillos in Chicago was a must stop anytime we were in town.
I have tried to duplicate their “gravy” many times but can’t seem to nail it. We just mail order kits now a couple times a year and add some Vienna beef hot dogs to it for real Chicago dogs.
