rofl Heard the yankee jokes for 30+ years, scratch you probley have a few havent heard...

Any time ya need some help with the hog problem, ya'll keep whinning about send a pm..
Have gun slinger will travel...
The leasing thing twas new whin moved thar... confused2 Everyone twas doing the deer lease, had place ta hunt...
Only reason got on lease, twas the 24-7-365 hog hunts... Cost less than a $1.00 a day... Had been hunten close ta 20yrs.. Twas a means of pudden food on d grill & in d freezer... Twas a family & friends thing working tagether...
& didnt mind helpen out land owners, showing respect... But Family came First...

Ya call me a loser? cheers think what ya want... Shoot, me health all messed up, cause of the foundry work... It payed bills...

Never heard the terms hunting is a sport, (richman term), pay ta play, ground shrinkage, & many other terms till got ta texas ...

One of the first posts made on a thread about the duelings over HF twas what was told by a Credit Adviser...

Quote
Hunting Leases are a Bad Investment !!!

Being a Damn yankee, as you put it, looser, (coming from a Great State, & as found out later, nieve of how things are done... Made his own decision... & walkinged out...

We did the tent camping ever since little ones in diapers, i grew up hunting, for reasons given...
$200.00 a year, we spent close ta half of it on camping already... Chance ta put food on d grill do me own processing... & #eral uno a family thing... Found out later, many leases didnt allow family... & seen the games played... Me Grammer may not be best, been using (spell check), cause people got thar feelings hurt... Even booted..

Back whin twas hearing the scary stories of the wild hogs, i twas doing me own thing... Huntsolo, couldn't find any one ta go with... Did the night hunts, flash light off, slinger pistol on hip...

Twas told not enough deer in Smith county ta get a doe tag... & whin the hogs started find thar way ta me food plot for deer & corn thrower. Shifted inta hog hunten... Letten them thar bucks walk... They were the typical free ranging, deer..
Baskit racks, yet ta find recipe for antlers... They just grew, thicker beams, little longer & taller... Just as much a trophy..
& was ready ta pudding up me guns, due ta the high rising prices of deer lease's.. Hunters who put time money effort, only ta get out bid...
Twas raised in different state... & twas a True Blessing whin a WMA opened up just down the road..
& even whin it went 4 deer county, tis sure you are smart enough ta figure out, reason & what could happen,
Could have taken 4 deer leaglely...

Took me bow in hand & took a stand down @ WMA's...
Hunted many of them...

offtopic Wev've had a mild, winter, bang not even enough ice on some lakes ta make it safe for 🎣 fishing...
Crops got put in early, shotgun/muzzleloader lots of deer taken.... We do the archery hunts, old school, family, friends working tagether.. Bro got one, so thar be some venison, tis the memories of hunts that mean most...
Carry many great memories of hunting with family & friends in texas ...

Hows your hunting been Best wish's & a Safe one... rofl dought ta made it this far... Me being a looser,
Tis #'er 1 on d ignorance list on dis forum.. up tis cool...
Best wish's. Now go hunt some hogs, plenty of public land if people wont let ya hunt, & thar are land owners who will apreciate the help with hog problems & Not charge...

We got light snow this morning... scratch tis a thinken, throw on several layers of cloths, & try me luck this evening, only few days left, & guns put up, (do some yotes, skunk, racoon), dont have the hog problems here, or i'd be, taking care of business slinger land owners here are more appreciative ta help...
Catch up on me ice cream 🎣 ing some lakes were still open...
Gotta gotta dot your t's & cross your eye's going on the ice right now...
Stay Safe...
up amusing thread Ed Jr... very intertaining...

edit : for the record i called it hunting even whin sitting in box blind, with food plot, & corn feeder.

My wife grew up in your welfare state. I have in-laws there. I can assure you those farmers that give you welfare hunting wouldn’t turn down cash to hunt their land...... banana

I do it both ways. Sometimes I get impatient sitting in a deer stand waiting for a deer to come out to the feeder so I'll just walk the pasture looking for deer. The upside to walking the pasture is you don't have to be in a deer blind bright and early. You can show up whenever you want to show up. Not a bad workout either.

Mom probably called him home to his basement, He’s one I’m certain should have been left on a moist towel.
