Haven't fired a shot so far and probably won't, had about 25 hogs move into the nth end of the ranch and I've been concentrating on them. As dry as It's been I'm going to let them rest another year unless something really big does something really stupid. I have been wearing out the camera though.

Yes! A Weatherby does kill them deader.

filled my buck tag opening day of bow season, my daughter tagged out opening day of youth season. shooting hogs now and maybe let a buddy come shoot a couple does. gearing up for another trip to SE Alaska in the spring to chase black bear and trap crabs with my buddies that live in Ketchikan. One has a brown bear tag so I will be his back up gun / boat driver as well.

Going to Alabama to hunt a friends ranch next week and one more doe tag to fill when I get back for special late season. After that, pigs and coyotes beware. I hunt all year with the exception of late July through late September. Too damn hot for the most part and I'm usually prepping for the new deer season.

Shot a buck opening weekend.

Daughter is out 'Travel Nursing' and can't make it home to hunt during the regular rifle season, but will be able to be here during part of the Muzzleloader season, so I am just letting the hunting area cool down and waiting on her. At that time She can take two Does, one spike and one A/R buck. I could still take a spike and two does (but won't).

The rest of the year is spent thinning out Hogs and Coyotes. I live on my property so....its ALWAYS hunting season for something.

Pretty much done with game animals until Spring turkey. Shot a buck the day after Thanksgiving, a doe earlier, friends have taken a few additional doe off my place, and other than hogs and coyotes, not much eldr will happen.

I am through having WT hunters this year. I still have a BB hunter coming after Christmas and a Mouflon hunter coming the first part of Jan. They got this year. 2 -10 point WT bucks. 4 -8 point, 1-7 point. 1 spike, 2 WT Does, 3 Blackbuck Does, 1 spike Axis, and 1 Mouflon. A really busy year. Hopefully everyone was happy and had a good time here. So far have not heard of any complaints.

I'm done. Good season for me. Took a 6 pt on public land, a spike on a management and 2 does. 4 deer for the freezer. Got done butchering, grinding and packaging today. Both of my freezers are full. Probably do a little coyote hunting and trout fishing now.

Same here. Just different critters. As far as deer, maybe. Already shot a nice buck behind the house. Maybe shoot a doe at a friends lease.

I’m a sort of year round hunter, except for real hot weather. My deer season might be over, or maybe not. Depends on my mood when I’m in the stand and what shows up.

I've still got a dozen does to kill and I haven't shot a buck yet myself. 'Need to find 2 older unbranched antler bucks too; those are the challenge. No tag shall go unfilled! rifle

Don, I've always thought you run a great operation. After I get back to work and have a little cash, I would like to bring my kids to your place to shoot a few critters. Just want my kids to shoot. I'll do the work/cooking/cleaning etc and of course pay.

We ended up with 17 deer off of 42 acres with 7 hunters. Four bucks and 13 does. It's a good start!

Had to stop, the freezer is full.

The local WMAA has our area a 1 deer for every 2.1 acres. Two of the guys didn't get the word and shot bucks.

We will do better next year.

About done with WT got my buck and 3 does, may try a standby hunt for WT buck. Moving on after the new year so hopefully get set up on some new ground to work on some hogs if I can find something. If not I’ll peruse the forum and live vicariously through y’all.

Son and I each shot a buck this year so we are done. Need to eat a bunch of the meat before our axis trip in April.
