I’ve got the vertical zero stop set properly. The vertical has me messed up. It’s sighted in and I moved the horizontal back to zero by loosening he set screws, slightly pulling out, setting to zero, slightly pushed it back in and tightened set screws. Well, I have 5 MIL adjustment to the right but 11.5 to the left. How do I set the horizontal zero?

If I’m understanding you correctly your are zeroed. When both set to zero is the rifle on target?
If so your scope mounts may be out of alignment to your rifle. You had to move 3 mils to the right to get it zeroed. Assuming 16 mils of total travel giving an 8 mil center. What kind of rings are you using?
Very possible I’m miss understanding your post though.

When you say vertical zero stop and horizontal zero stop, do you mean the zero stop for the elevation (vertical) and windage (horizontal)?

There is no horizontal zero stop on any of them.
When zeroed, some doofus might want to dial wind. He would be able to dial left or right.
With elevation, you're only ever dialing impact UP, from a 100 yard zero, therefore the existence of zero stop.

Not a zero stop, that's a windage lock.

I understand that refers to elevation, not windage, but I'm not good @ portraying my point in text. I'll rephrase it to say; why do I have 5 MILs right & 11.5 MILs left & how do I 'center' it to where I have an equal amount of windage adjustment each way?

You don’t need it centered as you shouldn’t be using it to dial for wind. Wind forever changes instantly, dialing and trying to keep up with the wind would be futile. All you need to do is remove the cap and set it back to 0 so that you can make sure the turret hasn’t turned.

Not a zero stop, that's a windage lock. Well that windage lock stops on zero every time you try to go past it.

Having more one way than the other is showing your scope isn't lined up dead center or there is a slight internal scope issue. There is really no reason to worry about it. Once I get one zeroed, I never touch the windage knob again, anyway.

Not a zero stop, that's a windage lock. Well that windage lock stops on zero every time you try to go past it. But, you can dial left AND right when you push the button.

Understood. It's my OCD wanting it equal but I see there's really no point. I've got it set to zero. It can go past the zero a full rotation & then some to the left. I guess I'll just hope it never does that.
