Why do all the pics of guys pose with the big cats in a bear hug? Does anyone else find that strange? You only see that with big cats.

I find it odd as well but it does show their size, I’m good with him laying on the ground lol

I'd imagine it is to show their true size ^ ^ ^ as said above
So many these days pose their deer several feet in front of
them so the deer looks bigger, and folks hold their fish out
in front of them at arms length to make them look bigger.

I do not find it odd at all and think it is a great pose, as Ol Thumper mentioned it shows just how darn big those cats are!

And when you see how big those cats can get, makes you take on a greater appreciation of what they are capable of eeks333

My cousin shot his first deer this past weekend. I tried to talk him into posing with his deer like you do with Mt. Lions. When I get the chance to kill one this will be the photo for sure.

Now I would rather get one like that then even a big Muley or Elk.

I've heard those hunts run upwards of $10k
Anyone on here know for sure??

He charges $5000+ license for 7 day hunt, find your own food and lodging. He has 2 spots open for 2022, booked for 2021.

A lot of jack but honestly not that bad when you consider a package hunt for a 150" whitetail here costs that or more.
Thanks Stompy

High fence, low fence, no fence, it really doesn't matter as long as you're hunting!

Those up north are not that much heavier

Have to take in account for a hell of a lot more fur up north to get through the cold winters!

I've heard they are good to eat but I'm not talking about spending that kind of money to go get dinner. lol

I want one live mounted laying down with a leg hanging off my big mesquite mantle above our wood stove!

Great googley moogley.

If I ever pose with a cat like that, his legs will be sticking straight out and frozen stiff, just to make sure he isn’t about to hug me back.
