 BLOOD TRAIL???

Yesterday afternoon 4 pigs come to the feeder. I pick up the 7Mag and take a 225 yard slightly quartering to me shot trying to bust the closest shoulder to me. When the smoke cleared there was no pig laying on the ground but I was 100% convinced I didn’t miss just by the sound of the shot. I figured it was a bad hit since she ran because 99 times out of 100 the pig will drop with that shot from a 7Mag. I got on the ATV and drove to the base of the mountain where the pig was standing. Couldn’t find a drop of blood anywhere!  That’s why I like big guns cuz even if they run a blind man can find them! She went 20 yards and shot was perfect. what tires are you running on the atv? popped another on the central tx rocks last week. time for a new set Those are GBC Dirt Devil A/T. I have averaged about 500 miles a season on them for the last 7 or 8 years and they have held up really well. They spend 70% of the time in some of the nastiest rocks you can imagine. Traction in loose rock hauling heavy loads of corn up steep hills has been nothing short of amazing! I would highly recommend them and buy them again in a heart beat!
