So the case looks nice, but is it that much better than another soft case? Seems expensive (without seeing it in person).

I think they're a great deal when you can find them 20% off-- I do love my pelican hard cases but these offer more convenience, especially on hunting trips where you might be getting rifles in and out of vehicles regularly, or even just a trip down to the local range where a hard case might be a PITA.

The padding, material and ability to strap it down offer way more protection and durability than the regular old Allen soft case.

Thanks. I might bite the bullet on the 48” or 55”. I’ll watch for a few days and see if they go on sale.
