Gorgeous country out there Lotto, I always said I was born a city boy but made it to the country every chance I could.
Alot of people don't understand or appreciate that red dirt country.
Cool Note: The realtor I bought my place from is Wyman Meinzer's wife Sylinda, very skilled photographer. Him and his wife are working for Chas Middleton Realtors and have a lot of connections in the Big Empty, as he calls it. He lived in the old Jail in Benjamin for years and now resides in the house that fronts 82 next to it. Awesome people for sure.
I mentioned I used to hunt the Pitchfork and he told me that he used trap and do research studies from an old cowboy shack in the middle of a remote pasture, ended up being the shack that was on one of the pastures we hunted. He showed me an old photo, looked like back in the 1800's of him and many many coyotes pelts hanging in front of the shack. This was back in the 70's.

that’s a great picture and some great history. I’ve had some great dove hunts right next to that shack and also called in and killed a yote or two there.

High fence, low fence, no fence, it really doesn't matter as long as you're hunting!
