One of the witnesses at the Georgia election scam hearing was an unemployed nurse.
In her introduction she explained the reason she could work as a poll watched ..... laid off due to Covid.

If the 2nd amendment was written just to include guns for hunting, why is there not an amendment to protect fishing poles?

My first wife was a Nurse, my second wife was an ER Director and my third wife is a Nurse. I've spent a lifetime around hospitals and seen and heard all the BS. Right now hospitals are jumping for joy! Most are now owned by large corporations and the ultimate goal for the bean counters is to be at maximum Income, I mean maximum capacity.

I would hate to have a heart attack and be taken to a hospital without available ICU beds.

Or have a child or grandchild in a bad MVA.

100% incorrect. Might as well quote InfoWars as a reliable news source while you are at it.

Baytown Methodist was empty. Took my father in law and he was able to get a room pretty quick.

Friends with a local nurse that works at our hospital. She says they are seeing a lot of COVID cases but that the effects are not that bad.........but they are being admitted .......

Doesn't make sense to admit if they can be managed at home, other than increased revenue for the hospital

We are in flu season were hospitals are normally 90% full. My governor was going on about how the hospitals were filling up so I checked the numbers. Covid cases were flat to sightly decreasing, non Covid admissions were up, but he keeps going on on how we have to increase our efforts in Covid mitigation. BS!

We been to ER twice this year, dead both times. First time July cut my finger on chain saw. Told the person at the desk "Its dead here", he said "well you are not in the COVID ward". Next, my son cut the tip of his finger off thanksgiving day, cooking. Wife rushed him to ER, it was dead, my wife said the nurse's station stopped them on the way out to ask what happened, because they had a running bet how he did, "cutting onions, I win!" one nurse said.

My wife was having sever pain in her lower abdomen in April when the whole covid thing was in full swing. She went to medical city, Frisco ER. They would not let me go in. She said there was only 1 older gentleman patient in the entire ER the whole time she was there. I don’t buy that they are all packed.

Lubbock ER’s are always packed. Worked at two of them and did work for Careflight. They handle patients from a very large geographical area in Texas and New Mexico, plus the residents of Lubbock.

Methodist in Mansfield ICU is full as well with COVID patients according to nurse friend I spoke with last week. According to her they had 4 COVID patients die on Thanksgiving day.

For those of you saying the ER's are empty....the ER and ICU are not the same. ER is for triage and immediate treatment, not a place for severe patients to camp out.

That being said, I doubt all hospital ICU's are overwhelmed, but I know some ICU's are pretty full.

Big Spring is closer than any of those you listed and they're not at capacity, AM 790 out of Lubbock said this morning that the Lubbock area was at 90% which is close to a normal number.
