For whitetail size game I like at least 100gr, 85gr makes a great Varmint load.

80-85 grain mono-metal for me. I've also shot a reasonable amount of hogs with the 105 grain Speer.

95-grain Federal Fusion. Excellent performer at a great price.

I have killed a lot of animals with the 95 gr Silvertip. Deer & pigs, varmints are just extras. All shots within 200 yrds normally. Has always worked well for me.
My kids have been shooting 100 gr Core Lokt with great success. All one shot kills so far on deer & pigs.

Sierra 85 grain BTHP in Hornady Custom factory ammo shoots a ragged hole at a 100 from my Model 7 and no deer have ever taken 1 step after having their lungs turned into a deer milkshake by one. It's like they are struck by lightning.

70 gr HP Match because that's what the gun likes. 90-100 gr bullets it won't shoot.

Fast Stout little bullets leave big holes Which is why the 120-grain, 25-06 is my favorite cartridge.

Got some 100 grain CoreLockts for deer but never use them. I prefer the 243 for a varmint gun, 75 Vmax is awesome.

When I had a 243 I usually used either 85gr Partitions or 90gr accubonds. Places I hunted with it the shots are within 225 yards and often inside 25 yards, those bullets worked and even in close gave exits on broadside shots and quick kills

x2 on the Barnes 80gr TTSX. Used to use 95gr BT's with good success but switched when the kids started to use the rifle. As BOBO shows, better exit performance to track if ever necessary. Extremely effective

I’ve used 100 grain corelocts, hornady btsp’s, Sierra prohunters, and nosler partitions. Partitions are my favorite. I wanted to try the 100+ grain but my barrel didn’t have the twist for it.

90gr Sierra TGK and H4350 at about 3350 FPS is the way to go. It will shoot sub moa out of my stock Tikka. I dropped a whitetail in its tracks just the other day with this load. I can’t wait to get a chance to stretch it out and see how well it shoots at longer distances. The BC is .490

Pull is flawed forget pulley weight and look at construction Clearly you have not looked for bullets for sale this year. No one can be that picky right now.

You cant buy bullets brass primers damn near anything lol. My brother asked me to load him something different for his kids to shoot... first time I had to say no and it because i cant get it.

Is your COAL pretty standard? As for history, we've killed ~300 whitetails with 100gr corelokts. I quit using them when the accuracy went away (more than one rifle).
