A buddy of mine brought his son out to my place yesterday hoping to get a first deer. They sat in the blind last night, but with the wind and heat, not much was moving. We stayed up too late, but they were still eager to get out this morning, so instead of them stumbling around in the dark, I thought it easier to take them out in the SxS. 5:45, very dark, and beautiful sky here in central Texas. As I opened the barn door I looked to the southeast and there was a line of lights, just above the moon moving to the south. It passed the moon and continued until we lost track of it in the south. Looked like about 12 or 15 lights, all perfectly aligned and moving quickly.

The kid was convinced is was a spaceship, I thought maybe something military, and kid's dad thought some kind of comet or meteor trail. I dropped them off at blind and rode back to house and immediately jumped on the google. Starlight meteor (satellite) train launched by SpaceX back in May https://www.space.com/spacex-starlink-satellites-night-sky-visibility-guide.html, I can't believe this is the first time I've seen this, or even heard about it. The article says the plan is to launch as many as 12,000 of these to provide global internet access and the sky will be littered with the "trains" eventually. It is kind of cool, but not sure I want to be looking at them constantly in our night sky.

Have any others seen this on their way out to hunt in the A.M.?

And oh yeah, they got a nice doe this morning.

Cool.

Quail hunting is like walking into, and out of a beautiful painting all day long. Gene Hill

I saw them in early evening in late October. Didn't know what it was until I looked it up. Definitely different.

It could be a satellite system called Starlink.

I’m going to have to check that out, the ISS before dawn is pretty amazing as well if you haven’t seen it. It’s crazy how fast all those things in space travel. The ISS looks huge going across the sky but you have to catch it pre dawn to get the sunlight hitting it to really get a good look. Night time views you can just see the faint lights on it but in the mornings it pretty amazing.

Saw it in late October and all of us were sure it was a spaceship. Pretty cool sight.

Saw it at 5:55 this morning as I was sitting in the duck blind. Going NW to SE over Northeast Tx. Never heard about this until I saw the post yesterday and read up on it. Made me appear to be highly intelligent in front of a few family members (who know better). Told them later in the morning I had some investment advice if they wanted to listen too 😂😂. Thanks for all the good info on here this week folks haha. Followed all of that up by shooting 4 birds, all being drakes. It’s been a good day
