My future son-in-law and I went on a 2 day guided crane hunt this past weekend with Red Eye Outfitters out of Lubbock. We had a great time. Shot a 3 man limit the first day and a 4 man limit the second. First day was a little slow but had 2 good sized groups come in. Shot 6 out of the first group and 3 out of the second. The second day there were groups of 20-150 flying all around. Zack, our guide, had them landing in the decoys so it was easy shooting. [Linked Image]

Nice shoot! I am looking forward to getting on some SHC's down here late season. Such good eats.

Congrats! We'll be in Slaton next week Friday. Hope they're still around.
