I've been using the Moultrie i40 for the past two years. For a mid-priced camera, I'd recommend it.

The stealth I590 I have takes great picts and has a great flash distance of 90 ft. I use a 12volt battery and get 1500 or more picts on my 2gig card.

Cuddieback Capture IR, cheaper than the NOFLASH and easy set up. Good pics too.

+1 will never use one again!
I like the I40's ALOT, i think moultrie makes great mid-priced cameras with solid life and easy function. Reconyx cameras rock but TOO EXPENSIVE!!!

+1 on the Moultrie I40. I've got two in the field and am buying two more. Incredible battery life and IMO very good pictures. The only drawback I've noticed is the shutter speed is a little slow (which is why the batteries last so long).

I have Stealth,Cuddyback and Moultrie. I had the best pics from my moultrie. The Cuddyback I had to send back to them twice.

My vote goes for the Moultrie D40. I have 5 of them and have been using them for about 3 years and have had very good luck with them. I know that the I40 may be better, but it also costs more. The D40 is on sale at Bass Pro for $69.94. You can't beat it for the price.
A few years ago all of my cameras were $200+ Stealthcams. They worked great for a year then they all quit. I decided to try a cheaper camera and am very happy with the D40.

The new Bushnell Trophy Cam is going to be hard to beat.+ 2yr warranty $ 199.00 The other one to look at is the new line by Wildgame Innovations. they have 4 cams under $100 I got one of the new IR-4 Wildgame Cams. Very simple, fast trigger ( 1.5 sec. ) good on batteries, $99.00, it is working great, can do video clips too.

I vote for the Scoutguard. I have three of them running now. They are some of the smallest on the market and don't look like a "suitcase" hanging on a tree. Good picture and video quality. Very long battery life. The new ones now com with a picture viewer on the remote control. I tried several brands last year, but took them all back and bought the Scout guard.
