I hunt nearby in Wichita and Clay County and have been seeing rutting activity that last couple weeks, primarily from young bucks so far.

Many years experience not far from you and the rut should be full on right now. Bucks should be locked up with does.

I hunt just over on the border of Baylor county. Young bucks were running doe this past weekend. Big bucks were showing dominance keeping this young bucks off the feeders. Doe aren’t ready but I’d guess there will be a lot Of chasing this weekend into the week of thanksgiving

Is that a cell phone camera? How close was he. I just looked at the new iphone 12 and the pro model has a zoom that zooms a bunch more than others. Sorry if this is off topic.

Yes, i Phone. That leaning tree is about 15 yards from me. So about 20 to 25 yards. He was close, and they ran right up next to me in the blind. He pushed her my direction, and they took off behind me. It was pretty cool.

Wow Chad, Not sure what you are looking for. I sure would not have taken a pic of that deer, until it was on the ground!!!
