Decided to just jump in and do it. I use my single stage to reload my 6.5CM, but did not want to use it for 9mm, 223, and 300BLK. I’m not looking for 1/4MOA accuracy with these. So bought 2 Lee Loadmasters one for rifle and one for pistol. Also have the new Lee APP brass processing press coming that will mount beside the single stage. I’ve only done one run of 124GR GoldDots on the pistol press and ran 400 rounds as fast as I could pull the lever. Took longer to keep the primer feed and brass feed filled.

They do take a bit of tinkering to get right, but once you do they run like a top.

Still looking for a bin solution for my brass, not liking the dollar tree tubs, but dang they’re proud of some of those plastic bins.

Definitely not as fancy as a lot of you guy’s setups but I’m happy for my little ammo operation.

Thanks guys I’m enjoying it. I used to hate reloading but now I can’t wait to go reload if my components would keep up.

I’m in at around $600 for both progressive presses. There are addons that cost more but for the press itself in whatever caliber you want comes with the dies, powder throws, brass and primer feeds. Pretty good value. The 9mm took me around 2-3 hours to get it all setup and running properly, but it was a learning curve the 223 took less than an hour to setup because i had done it already.

Probably right up your alley since you have an engineer brain and like to tinker.

Nice setup. I gave up reloading when it became a chore I didn't want to do anymore and I could easily enough find the ammo I wanted...I may have to get back into it myself, only problem would be finding the darn components is probably as hard as finding ammo.

Man, you're making me look bad! I can't wait to move and get a bigger place to reload so I can spread out!

Whilst I love tinkerings, the costs that your listing is what is more up my alley than anything else. I;ve been a cheap arse far longer than an engineer. Please let us know how u end up liking the ammo it produces, again for me especially the 223/556 stuff.

Will do, but I’m going more for speed than super accurate. If y’all loads MOA or even a little bigger than MOA I’ll be happy.

That is a bracket I found at Home Depot that you use dimensional lumber as the shelving. I used a 2x10 and burnt it and cleared it to match my benches I built. It holds a lot of weight when anchored to studs.
