What are you guys doing to pass the time until Next weekend? The wait is killing me. Ive got my tubs organized, blind backpack organized and gun cleaned....All Ive done for the last week is work, watch The Hunting Public and fall asleep playing The Hunter: Call of the Wild  What are you guys doing to make the time pass faster?

Spraying my boots with rubber conditioner so they'll last longer and letting the woods stay quiet and unpressured.

Bow hunting, not as much as STX but hunting. Haven't shot anything myself but the Wife got her first archery deer this season

We have been at the lease doing alot of work at our lease. We had a pretty big cutting on our lease and had some rearranging of stands and stuff we wanted to do.

Looks like I will miss opening day of general gun season. Got some funeralizing to do. Ho hum, haven't made an opening day in 30 years. Dang Wurstfest burned to the ground and with that and this Covid mess, thought I would break that string. Guess it just wasn't meant to be. Oh well.

Gotta sound Taps at Fort Sam Cemetery Friday afternoon, then I'll drive out. I mainly just like to listen how much of a "war" I have going on on the neighboring properties on opening morning. As far as not disturbing anything, I filled a feeder yesterday and when I climbed down from checking the blind, a young 8 was standing under the feeder.  Not the brightest bulb in the box.

I went in and tapped my feeder to make sure it was still good. I checked the cam and had a couple shooters and a bunch of hogs and coons.
