The worst cussing I ever received was for saying "good morning" to a woman I used to work with. The next week I said "morning" to her and she asked why I didn't say "good morning", everyone in our group busted out laughing.

Every time we got a new rookie in the firehouse on his first day I always got a kick out of doing much the same. They would be all happy and greet me with a good morning. My response would always be "What's so F*&^#$G good about it" in my best serious angry voice and look and walk on by. I of course would be nice to them the rest of the day. It was just too much fun to see them sink for that one moment. Right of passage. But I did work with old salts early in my career that really were like that all the time, but some of the best firefighters I ever knew.

Once a rookie on his first day walked into the firehouse kitchen and greeted me with a good morning. First thing I noticed was a big mole on the side of his face. My only response was to pick up a peanut butter jar lid off the counter and hold it to the side my face and asked "who's this?". He picked up the jelly jar lid and held it to the front of his neck and said "Who's this?". I have a big adams apple. I smiled and told him he was going to fit in just fine and walked out of the room. He went on to become a chief for another department.

I just googled this and you are absolutely correct and I did not know this. He did the voice over for a biden add. I will admit that I have always been a Sam Elliot fan....... and yes It disappoints me that he did the add. I wonder how many people will be voting for Biden, not because they like him, but just to vote against Trump. I hope not many for our sake.
