Some more photos of life around here.
A couple of popular hobbies

Berry picking. Apples and such won't grow up here so many pick wild Berries which are so abundant in many places. And free.

We are the northern extreme of were farming is possible. All the developed areas are farming areas but much of the land is still wild forested public land with some logging and oilfield activity throughout.

And then comes winter with it's short days and cold. -40 is not uncommon here. it can get that cold or colder from mid November through to early April but the average temperatures runs around -10 through the winter.

When the winter snows melt in spring local flooding can become and issue, but it dries up quickly

The warm weather brings with it all the birds that migrated down to you folks for the winter. And of course it also brings out the baby animals.
