Any good ideas on how to use the locks that come with new firearm purchases? I've accumulated 3 or 4 over the last couple years and they're just gathering dust.

They are typically junk locks as far as quality. I throw them away.

I guess you could lock up some different firearms, like rotate in some new ones?

They go straight to the trash. No good use for them.

I haven’t found a good use for them, either.

Yep, kids love locks. Wait until they lock one of your gun cases and no idea where the key is while you're in a hurry. Now gotta run & get bolt cutters. roflmao

I have used them to lock a pistol case to the inside of my suitcase while traveling.
Didn’t want it disappearing from my suitcase after checking my bags.

Probably have a dozen in an ammo case. Cheap, but they have to include them by law. No suggestions on how to use them for other means.

Because I usually go alone, I have one that I sometimes use to lock my more expensive rifles to the security cable on the gun racks at the shooting range while changing targets.
