8" upper suppressed. Probably out to 150 yards max, but quite a bit within 50. What do you recommend? Thanks.

I'd just get a 1-4 power. There are a lot of them out there and there. What is your budget?

Under $500, I like Primary Arms and SWFA. SWFA 1-4 is nice if you ever wanted to dial but it's always out of stock.

The PA has really nice caliber specific BDC reticles. They have a 1-6 with a 300 Blackout reticle. I have several of their 1-8 ACSS in 308/223. I think it's a great reticle for both defense and hunting. has BDC, win holds and ranging in the reticle.

Leupold VX-2 3x9x40, or 3x9x50 if you want a slightly wider view. They run around $300 now and are damn good scopes for the money. You don't need to spend the money on tacticool scopes unless you want to.

I put a Sight Mark Wraith on mine. I really like it, takes a little getting use to. Daytime is kind of like looking through a video camera. Shot pigs with mine this week. One in the daytime, one in total darkness. Most of my shots are within 100 yards so I bought the 2X version. 4X is the most popular.

With that much close-in shooting, make sure the parallax can handle it.
Athlon Helos BTR, 1-4.5x50, zero stop, locking turrets and parallax adjustment to 10 yards.
MSRP $499.99

I have the primary arms 3x that I like because it's BDC works for subs and supers. I shoot a lot of subs with my integrally suppressed 8" barrel.

I've had this Burris on my .300 BO for ten years, Fullfield II, 2-7 x 33. Has held zero, very well, and has great clarity. This scope is the reason I feel confident that for this price point Burris is in the lead for 1st place. I've hunted a lot with this set up, sees rough use riding up front on my ATV and hangs in there, never a failure. [Linked Image]

I'm a huge fan of the Leupold VX-R and have 3 of them. They can be found for around $400 or so....1-4x, 2-7x, or 3-9x.

I use a Burris 3x prism on mine. BDC matches subs perfectly.
