Ah O! Wonder what He's thinking about now other than pain,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, Why did Dak Prescott turn down contract? May 22, 2020 The tweet in response to a story claiming that the quarterback turned down the most lucrative deal in NFL. As per Chris Simms, the 26-year-old turned down a mega-money 5-year deal worth $175 million. This was because he was seeking a payday “north of $45 million” in his final season. Prescott is sturdy and reliable. (NOT) Although He did make enough to live on in 2020---- $31,409,000

Saw his injury on the local news, unfortunate but part of the game. Before this year I thought he was one of the few good stand up players. Well he showed his true colors this year with his BS remarks about how he is still oppressed and other total BS remarks. No sympathy here for him and what a greedy Dumb Azz, should have taken the money and ran.

Too many are willing to risk a whole lot for what, in essence, is very little.

Dak said a while back that "every single day he is discriminated against". Well guess what? Injuries don't discriminate.....

I agree 100%, I truly hate to see anyone get hurt but he knew the risks of working on a year to year deal but he gambled and he lost this time. Eventually the house always wins and he had been pushing his luck for a while now. He played his last game with the cowboys yesterday in my opinion but time will tell.

I hope that it heals properly and he can continue his career. It was a nasty break. I know there are a lot on here that hate the NFL and anybody associated with it, but the dude has had a rough 2020 and he is one of the good guys. While I don't always agree with his stances on issues, I respect his character. He took a risk with the contract, but even if he never plays another down in the NFL, he will have made 10X more money this year alone than I will make in my lifetime.

Seems like most Quarterbacks that have a tendency to run a lot eventually get injured.

One of his better abilities was to scramble and those days are gone forever unfortunately for him. If he returns he will be a different style quarterback but god works in mysterious ways and it might actually make him a more disciplined better pocket passer. Who knows but I’d gladly let someone break my leg for $30 million, hell I’ve broke it plenty of times for free so it would be nice to get paid for once..

Got to admit I've got some empathy for him. I broke my leg in a tractor accident in that same spot a few years back. Suspect it won't be a quick recovery. Between this and his brother committing suicide in April, his 2020 has been pretty sucky.

His could've been much better if hadn't been a greedy, mediocre QB and just signed a contract.
