Question. The past few months my place has been hit with hogs pretty good. I have pics of up to 20 small hogs at my feeder. Oldest son took a 50pound boar last friday night. Both sons hunted saturday night and killed a 250 pound boar that has showed up nearly everynight on camera alone. Havent had a hog show since the big boar was killed. Im not complaining as I dont miss the rooting in the pasture. They gonna come back?

They always come back. They go to where there is less pressure or more food and then they end up coming back after a while.

Well, then it isn't because you are shooting at them as that would be poaching.

You know what time of year it is? It is mast crop season. Acorns, pecans, etc. are falling off the trees. Hogs like those more than corn. They aren't showing up because they have something better to eat. Lots of feeder-based hunters have this problem virtually every year. They lose hogs, deer, or both.

They'll be baaack!

If you find yourself feeling useless, remember it took 20 years, trillions of dollars, and four presidents to replace the Taliban with the Taliban.

Sometimes the Universe puts you in the same situation again to see if you’re still a dumbass.
