Interesting... Maybe there's a burr or piece of metal protruding from the trigger somewhere? Or, you could have Flexor Tendinitis, more commonly called "Trigger Finger" LOL. No pun intended. Was it real cold out when you were shooting? (I know we're in a heat-wave, but thought I'd ask anyway ) I don't know dude, that's pretty weird. Never heard of anything like that.

Never had it happen before or after with any other guns. Stopped shooting that gun. It is almost as if the trigger resets with the full force of the shot fired. No burs or sharp metal on trigger. It stung when I shot it made my finger go numbafter several shots. Shot gun for years before just started doing this last year during dove season, so not cold at all. Thanks Gunslinger

Took to gunsmith and found out that gun was set up for magnum loads so I was feeling alot more recoil than I should have and the timing of the gun was off this way and thats what I felt in the trigger. I am no gunsmith but this is what he told me.

Where are you located?
You could bring by the house and we can have a look see, but I don't see how it could be anything in the trigger group, by design it would be almost impossible to reset that hard.

I am no gunsmith but this is what he told me. If the gun was setup for magnum loads and you were shooting light loads it wouldn't fully cycle. This has nothing to do with the way the trigger resets. That being said, I've never heard of this problem and it is not referenced in the Factory Service Manual. It does seem like there must be a burr on one of the sears to cause this.
Thought for the day: Ducks were almost hunted to extinction long before camo was invented.
