Curious what yall may like. I do not use ice but I have had a cube where I needed the harsh stuff toned down a bit. That was drinking some Honey Evan Williams. I have some cold stones but have not tried them as of yet.

If the whiskey is decent I don't really think you need ice or to cool it down. Some may say otherwise but maybe I am missing something?

Good whiskey should be consumed however you like it and not how somebody tells you to enjoy it. Branch water, neat, on ice, rocks, etc. Enjoy it how you like it.

Neat for a single-malt. Do do otherwise is an outrage. On the rare occasion that I want a scotch in warm weather, I'll put a couple of cubes in some Chivas.

The stone cubes are too much hassle for the modicum of benefit, believe me I've tried.

As long as there isn’t more ice than liquor and it doesn’t sit there forever!

Depends on the whiskey.

I like my hundred proof table whisky over ice. I sip my Tennessee whisky straight.

I prefer drinking whisky neat, but on occasion, I have found one that need a bit of water to make them taste right, Penderyn single malt come to mind. I currently have some Elijah Craig single barrel on hand that is so smooth adding anything to it would lessen the tasting experience.

for every stereotype there's a prototype don't be the prototype

EC is one of my tops. Buffalo Trace and Four Roses as well. As you can tell I don’t spend a fortune on whiskey. But I’m ok with these.

I've consumed far more than my share of Whisky, nearly always with a cube or two of ice. On a cold day a nice little shot right out of the bottle gets the blood warmed up, about a half a shot in a cup of coffee works well also. There's no wrong way to drink good Whisky. The one thing I never did was add anything sweet like soda's, not saying it wrong just never liked it that way.

Yes! A Weatherby does kill them deader.

I have learned to not mix the better stuff. I try the new ones TexasLefty style. Then, usually 2or 3 cubes of ice.

Otherwise with the cheaper stuff now, I’ll make an old fashioned and get myself in some real trouble with the wife, which won’t be happening for a while now. Oooof!

And this IS true! It Is more enjoyable when you’re at the lease or somewhere with your buddies though. I’m getting to not care for my own company while drinking whiskey anymore.
