HBO did a Perry Mason series, Della and Hamilton Berger were gay and Paul Drake was a black man. Perry didn't get to get the real murderer to confess on the stand and it was set in the early 20th century.

There are only a few of the original Perry Mason episodes available on TV. After watching them I wanted to see more so I ordered all 271 episodes on DVD. Works out to about 65 cents per episode. Perry Mason: The Complete Series

We watch it almost every night on FETV.
Great show.
I used to watch it with my dad, way back in the day.

I didn't know they existed. I would never had gone looking. I get a daily list on Book Bud. There it was and now it is on my Kindle.

My Mom never missed an episode, so when you only had one TV in the house I saw my share of the episodes too.
