Looking for range ammo for my M1 Garand. AP, M2 ball, or any other load that is designed for smooth operation in the platform. I’m located in Gatesville, TX. I have cash or firearms and ammo I would be willing to trade for the right deal. Firearms would be a PSA ar-15 with multiple upgrades or a CZ 550 FS chambered in 9.3x62 Mauser. I’ve got a healthy supply of 223, so I would be willing to trade some of that as well.

I believe I have some. Got rid of a Garand years ago and been stuck with some 30-06 FMJ, can't recall if it's ball or not, could check when I get off work. I'm located in Rockwall county. Unsure of the count but know it's a fair amount.

Centerfire Systems . com had a deal on 30-06 ammo. It was surplus but it was 160rnds for $99 with free shipping. I dont know if any of it is still available though.

Coach Floyd, Have you got yourself an adjustable gas plug? It will open your ammo choices w/o damaging your op rod.

I bought a Garand Gear ported plug and also have a setup to start handloading. I figured I could get by with some 150 grain Core-Lokt factory ammo in a pinch as long as everything is greased and oiled. I just want to have a good cache of plinking ammo that won’t be too hard on the weapon.

Too bad the CMP is out of the Greek HXP ammo... or at least I haven't seen it in a while. That stuff was good.

Look for some PPU m2 ball 30-06 ammo specifically made for M1 Garands. Pretty good plinking ammo and the brass holds up to reloading
