Allsup's burritos have medicinal qualities; good for emptying all of the previous evenings horrible choices from your guts. Really gets things moving.
On a side note, for all you masochistic degenerates out there, they sell their taco sauce in bottles.
Gone are the days of filling the crisper drawer in the fridge full of packets of the stuff.

Gut bombs!!!!!! Gotta love em! Their hot sauce is so crappy that its pretty good too. I used to make it a regular stop when I was in West Texas. Last few I've had have been around Burkburnett, and you bet your a$$ I was coming out of the goose blind looking for a tree just about every time...... But I still love em!

I eat mine with a few packets of ketchup. What brand is the hot sauce? I like Del Sol hot sauce. We used to get it with our sausage egg n cheese biscuits at Dan-D-Mart before school. Then Texas Motor Speedway came in and they tore it down.

I've had them a few times. No intestinal distress, but I just don't get what all the fuss is about. I didn't think they were anything special.

I guess I have an iron gut, nothing I have ever eaten has given me any grief to speak off ... maybe some beans with gas, but nothing ever caused me to have to watch out where I was to hit the head in a hurry.
I take that back, there used to be a little mom/pop hot sandwich shop in Austin called Slicers, and if I had their sausage (Italian), onion, pepper sandwich with their homemade sauce, within 2 hours my belly was howling. Dang those were good for 2 hours. That's the only thing that I ever had that was systematic to me. Burritos from fast food places always normal business, no matter the sauce/hot sauce.

Just saw this thread again. The wife is coming back from Angel Fire tomorrow. I’ll get her to bring me an Allsup’s Burrito sampler. So which ones do I need?
Beef and bean for sure Chimichanga? Flavors to choose from, or just one option?
Help me out here.

The wife just got back, and she brought some Allsups tamales (hot) and shredded beef Chimichangas. The tamales were really good, and pretty darn hot. Saving the Chimichanga for later. No rumblings from the lower unit yet.
