I was out west of Woodson last weekend. It was really wet! We had to use the Polaris to get around to fill most of our feeders. Saw more dove than opening weekend but still not very good. Deer are hitting our feeders pretty good.

No. Those are on a 245 acre place we lease. Small places around us too. Probably going to disappear soon.

Well, great bucks especially for smaller acreage. Good luck to putting an arrow or hot lead into either but especially the larger more mature one. Looks like a 140" eight to me or pretty close.

I'm live west of Olney. My deer herd is looking quite nice and I've got a few nice bucks. This year I'm super excited. Four years ago my neighbor on my south end high fenced his ranch. It knocked our deer herd down by 75 to 80%. Bucks were pretty much no existent until the rut came in. This year we're seeing as many bucks as we did prior to the high fence, just not the quality of bucks. We have a couple shooters, a spike and lots of small 4 & 6 and some 8 pts. The coming years should be good.

DQ KId, sorry to break the news, what doves! This is the 3rd really bad year in a row and this years the worse. I keep hoping they'll show up!

Distance is not an issue, but the wind can make it interesting!

I pulled a few May - July pics before the feeders ran dry; looks like a couple of possible mature to post mature ones in the bunch nothing too impressive, be curious to see where they ended at post velvet.
