I'm not a big poster however, I ran across a little product that was well made, shipped promptly and functioned as designed. If anyone has a Howa mini action and cannot stand the detachable magazine setup, this product works great. Jefferson Outdoors makes a hinged floor plate for the rifle that is made from 6061 aluminum, the magazine box, feed lips and follower are machined from Delrin. Delrin is a polymer that is used in high cycle/ wet environments. We use it as bushings for our rudder stocks on our 10,000 horsepower tow boats going up and down the Mississippi. Very durable. I highly recommend this product to make a pretty good little truck gun a great one. I do not work for these folks, receive any endorsements or whatever else a lawyer would require one to state. Just a good product, prompt and courteous service. Rare these days. Thanks.

Thanks for the info man, I have a Howa mini action and like the rifle but am not a fan of the low hanging detachable magazine, it’s just not my thing. I will for sure look into them.

There's a few manufacturers that make them. There are also aftermarket bottom metals that keep the DBM, these replace Howa's bottom plastic.
