After 11 years, I finally replaced my home laptop.

Can anyone recommend a reliable source with good prices for Microsoft Office?

Primary use is Word and Excel, with only a little bit of Power Point thrown in.

Thanks

I went online and found 2007 MicroSoft Office Version for free, It has all that stuff on it.

You can also find smoking prices on Ebay, they will send you a code to load it.

I use LibreOffice - its free. It was easy to make the transition from MS Office. It will open & save in many file formats including MS Office (Word/Excel/PowerPoint).

Open Office is also free, but I have no comparison to MS, as I have no use for that "stuff".

Thanks all, I got it done... now who is making the best free anti virus s/w these days.

I ran AVG Free on my old system, and never had an issue, are they still good to go these days?

I hear that Defender works well, but I wouldn’t use it on a dare. Being retired IT, I’ve seen too much. I use Kaspersky.

Recent reports show MS Defender to be on par with paid antivirus software. I still don't trust it after seeing the cluster Microsoft makes out of Win 10 updates.
