I think on Thursdays or something they have all you can eat Sirloin. Their rare steak is what id consider over done but delicious all the same. Huge draft beer.

Mary buys cube steaks for chicken fry from Eddy Packing. Excellent product and company. The steaks came from Ranger Meats at one time, don't know these days.

Eddy packing is VERY good, Ranger Meats was a great customer when i was at Sysco, we had to quit selling them , it became a conflict of interest . we bought a ton of products from Eddy Packing . I believe Mary uses Ben E Keith out of Ft. Worth for most of her products

Didn't know you worked for Sysco. Ever hear of Patterson Meat?
We were selling Mary's through Ranger Meats a few years ago. The owner over at Ranger tried to open a restaurant, competing against Mary, so she threw him out and we went with him.
I still eat there when we go west for bird hunts.

My son and I ate at Sissy's Friday between the morning and afternoon hunts at Stompy's. We both got the small chicken fried steak. Neither one of us finished all of it. It was great. Stompy is a great host and has some good fields. Had a good time and met some nice folks.

Do your a favor and skip Mary's, try Sissy's in Breckenridge. Much better CFS. Ate there this past Saturday while hunting with Stompy, better CFS, larger portion and less $$$. They were out of baked potato so I had to have fries. Place was packed, friendly folks and great atmosphere.
Born to hunt and fish.

We ate at Sissy's too. It was very good. If I was hunting that area again, I'd eat there. Much closer and goooooood.

Wasn't there a "Sissy's" across the street from Mary's at one time? Is this the same place, just in Breckenridge?

I always heard the place across the street from Mary's was run by her sister. I don't remember the name.

Something changed at Mary's a couple of years back. Greasy, gristlely (is that a word?) CFS and greasy cold onion rings. twice in a row.
I'm not saying I will never eat there again, but I'm sure as heck not going out of my way to get there.
We all need to practice Whoa more.

I've been to Mary's a few times. The first couple of times it was great. The last time about a year about the cfs was inedible. Would try again, anyone can have a bad day.
