Deer wont be far. They are roaming the new cutovers in East Texas before the equipment is even moved off-site.

No one mentioned dictating anything. If you buy a car and show up to get it and they took the doors off, would you be happy? It's a multi-million dollar dealership, after all.

It always amazes me the lack of decency of some people to take a few thousand dollars from someone and then piz down their back. I guess ive been lucky or overly cautious but ive never been done like that.

A few thousand dollars may not sound like a lot, but when someone swindles you out of it, it burns a little.

Glad those deer I hunted in Western Kansas did not know they needed thick cover to live in.

I have some neighbors who would do that and have done it.

A neighbor to the north of Gregor poisoned and then root plowed several hundred acres. Gregor's pasture is thick with cover. Didn't see many deer. Set up on the fence line to observe and saw a loads of activity leaving his pasture to that there newly opened pasture. In fact, he could see deer from all-round moving to that pasture.

Are there deer in Kansas; if so Texas might buy the state and declare it another small ranch.

I hunted some timber land in AL that was clear cut shortly before the season. We saw more deer that season than we had in years. The deer will use the same travel routes they used before for a while after it has been clear cut before changing patterns. You may be pleasantly surprised at your success this season.
