The best jerky I ever had was made and sold at the Garvin Store. Hands down it was the best. Not sure if they still make it or that old store is still open anymore though. Herschaps in Orange Grove made really good jerky back when I lived in that area. Wiatreks in Poth is really good also. I used to order jerky from a place in Wichita Falls, Texas that made really good jerky also..Lone Star Jerky or something similar IIRC. Buc-ee's sells some great jerky also..just pricey.

Prasek's Hillje Smokehouse jerky, they sell it at HEB. Sealy, El Campo
Texas Best Smokehouse used to have my favorite jerky but they changed something. Italy
Dziuk's Meat Market has the best dried sausage, jalapeno flavor hands down. Castroville

I love it. Family and a few select friends are only ones to ever get any. They get a bit at Christmas and beg for it the other 11 months. It may not be any good, but we sure love it.

I have bought jerky at Robertson's along different interstates, but it is hit or miss depending on who owns it.
