I count 7 i Phones in my immediate family. Somebody always need to charge their phone. Where should I go to buy about a half dozen cables. I think I read where the genuine Chinese Apple cables charge faster then the generic ones. Don't know if there is anything to that are not. Help! Please.

I buy them in multi packs as they all start to fail at the same time. Get all different lengths.

If you want faster charging get an IPad charger. They say the fast charging is bad for your battery though. I’ve been using one for 22 months in this phone. I have started to notice less battery life in the last 2-3 months.

I got some nice 6 foot long cords off Amazon. They’re way more durable than the previous ones I’ve bought and definitely better than the ones Apple sends when you buy a phone. They’re the Amazon Basics, which is Amazon’s house brand. Using seed chargers definitely ruins your battery. Using an iPad charger on an iPhone is better than using the third party super chargers, but I still try to use the corresponding charging plug to the device I’m charging.

I can’t buy the stiffer braided ones. My wife would rather run her hand in the disposal while it’s running than feel them. Lol

The Amazon Basic ones I mentioned aren’t braided, they’re white, just like the Apple ones, but a little thicker so they don’t separate around the end that goes into the phone port, which is where all of my others ones have failed.

If you have newer phones buy wireless chargers and just sit your phone on them when you aren't looking at something.

I have just kept the old chargers from previous phones, guess i have better luck with them than most. I have one at the ranch i leave there one at home and one in the truck.
