Has anybody used the All Season’s Eliminator Plate? Thinking about switching to these for our deer feeders and looking for some first hand knowledge or experience with them. Thanks y’all.

Yes I started using them in 2012 and have 5 feeders using them. No varmint cages since I started with those. No coon or bird or squirrels bother my feeders now. Keys to keep them operating all time are to make sure you spray the lower working parts a couple of times per year. The main issue is dirty and not cleaned corn. Dusty dirty trashy corn is the biggest issue in wetter areas. I also use Duke Coon traps to keep my numbers way down so they are not tearing things up. In the last 8 yrs I think I have gotten one or two TC pics of coons up on the feeder trying to get to the corn. I will see them on the ground but it is rare to see them trying to get to the corn. Just make sure if you switch that all of your solar panel wires or feeder wires are protected from coons or squirrels. You cut the free buffet off and they get destructive.

The old timer above covered it. I started swapping all of mine out to eliminator plates 3 yrs ago and wish I would have done it sooner. If you set it up properly and keep it sprayed they work like a champ and will save you money in corn loss.

I put one one on my only barrel feeder I have left on my property and love it. No cage to knock the corn down. Been working great for a little over a year now.

I have a winch up feeder running the eliminator plate and no cage ... only 2 issues I have had was 1. keep it lubricated as dust can impair the functionality and 2. be sure once you get it set right, to crank the box mounting screws pretty tight as the larger and more acrobatic coons can hang onto the box trying to get to the corn and the box will slide down with the weight/movement, making it a regular spin plate.

I have used the eliminator plate for several years and no problems with coons. No need for cage. The only suggestion I have is that you use dry lube when lubricating.

Thanks for the input y’all. I’ll be headed to do the swapping around the middle of September. Can’t wait to check cameras and not see three coons emptying the feeder from spinner with another 4-6 on the ground eating what they drop.

I like the elimator plate but they used to have two different spinner plates. the EVO sold at Buccees I don't care for as it is has more open edges. My eliminator slinger plates are closed off and close (suck up tight) on barrell funnel opening. But mine, eliminator may not make that slinger plate anymore. They are worth the investment and upgrade. As other said just be sure to really tighten down box assembly and secure steel flex or tubing all solar wiring because coons if they get to box will be trapeze artists.

Can’t wait to check cameras and not see three coons emptying the feeder from spinner with another 4-6 on the ground eating what they drop. You may have to look at the gap between your existing motor, spinner plate and bottom of the funnel opening. The distance from the motor shaft to the bottom of the funnel is critical. I have an older All Season 800 lb spin feeder with their motor and control box unit assembly. The box was adjustable up and down but I could not drop it low enough for the eliminator plate to fit in and work properly. The older AS feeders had a downspout funnel that was under the opening on the bottom of the feeder, that extra 1.75"-2" was to much for the elimator plate assembly to fit in and work. That feeder is at another place of mine and I did not want to take it down and bring it home to work on it. So I just built a much larger varmit cage instead.

Hate them, out of 8, every one throw the plastic grommet out that slides up and down that shaft. May take two years but eventually it will come out.

Do you think it was because you were using the dusty dirty bin or field run corn straight out of the combine? I have had 4 of them for 8 yrs and not had one throw the plastic grommet yet. Course you will jinx that now

Hate them, out of 8, every one throw the plastic grommet out that slides up and down that shaft. May take two years but eventually it will come out. I've used them for years, and have had a few of the white grommets come out as well. I found a couple under the feeder and simple gorilla glued them back in with no issues since. The others where I could not find the grommet, I simply took the spinner plate back to where I bought it and it was replaced for free. As others have mentioned, keep the chain clean, and use something that dries to clean it so dirt/dust doesn't stick to what you used to clean it (like grease, don't use grease!). I like them, and will continue to use them...

Have been using spray lithium for lubrication. Is dry lube better?

How tight up against the funnel opening do y’all mount the plate? Just touching or does there need to be some pressure?

Have been using spray lithium for lubrication. Is dry lube better? Dry lubes are best as WD40 or anything like that will cause the dust to stick.
