Badger. Seriously, looks like a lion tail on it's right side.

Badger. Seriously, looks like a lion tail on it's right side. I was thinking the same......height seems to be about right for a lion as well....I'm sure Gary will chime in eventually with his opinion.......

I’m going lion on this one. Bobcat is a little more compact.

Looks like a lion to me. The head and neck shape really look like it. How tall is the grass clump in front of the cat? Have a daylight photo for reference to weeds, grass or brush height? Those weeds/grass make it look like a small cat.

I'm gonna go against the grain and say bobcat. That yucca looking plant to the right of it makes it look too small to be a lion. I remember the lion you had out there a few years ago and that was a no doubter.

Guess I'll take the opposite side and say bob. I'm definitely not confident either way. The "tail" on the right side like others have mentioned could be possible but it could just be the leg. It looks like there are some lighter pixels on the backend where a stub tail would be.

Lion, based on coloration, body length.

The more I look at it, the less it is an animal at all. It is shaped like a cougar but it would be way too small when you compare it to the daytime photo. Maybe its just a bush or something else. The back legs don't look right.

With the daytime pic I am now thinking the tail could be a weed or possibly a weed and his right hind leg. If it is a lion then it may well be a juvenile that is what is making it look like a bobcat more.

Bobcat no question. How tall is that plant he's next to, 18" maybe?...and seems about the same height.

Body shape sure looks like a ML to me. It just does not look right to be a bobcat. I think it is a young lion 40-50 lbs maybe.
High fence, low fence, no fence, it really doesn't matter as long as you're hunting!

I think bobcat. What looks like a long tail is probably a back leg. IMO

Dang Marc, sure looks like a big Siamese to me. Body seems long for a bobcat and I think I see a tail...also carrying itself like a lion. Hmmmm.... Adios, Gary
