Used to see the Mongols, Bandidos, Hells Angels on the open roads in the 70s , 80s , 90s. Since moving to texas 15 years ago i dont see any. And i drive thousends of miles every year out west .
Yuppie bikers dont count

They are all riding without their cuts for the most part due to the ongoing battle for Texas. Yep, they’re out there. Either traveling solo or 2-3 people tops.

It probably plays a big part that I do not roam around like I use to and see a lot of the stuff that I use to. When I am I have not seen a real gang biker in a long time

I had no choice but to walk right through a bunch of H/As many years ago. As I entered the group, I said "Good afternoon, gentlemen." Several said "Good afternoon, Sir." I passed through and went on my way. I like to think they were respectful to me because I showed them the respect first.

A guy I used to work with was a proud member of the Cossacks, wore his club gear every chance he got. After Waco I have not seen him in that jacket again.

The Cossacks have a place in Hubbard, for what that’s worth. Noticed that too. Saw quite a few bikers Thursday at court. They were with BACA BACA (bikers against child abuse) often show up in court in support of a child testifying against their parents. They befriend the child and protect them. It’s a simple effective way to comfort a scared kid.

They are still out there, but a lot of them do not wear the vest all of the time like they used to.
