Did that twice. First time without meds, don't recommend. Second time I was installing hardwood floors all day. Percocet is your friend.

Twice now, both miserable. Shock wave lithotripsy and Ureteroscopy. Had a stent for 3 weeks the last time and killed me to sit down. Very humbling & humiliating experiences.

And I thought my 5 day stent sucked. Three weeks???!!!

3 Long weeks! I waited so long to finally get checked out the 2nd time & the stone was so big it had ripped me up pretty good. The Dr. had to laser and dig to remove so the swelling was pretty bad. Had to let the swelling go down, put me back under and remove. Felt like a McDonalds straw wedged in there the whole time. Complete misery and urinating felt like lava the whole time. I don’t wish a stone on my worst enemy.
