I recently purchased a 350 legend AR to hunt deer and hogs. I am looking to find a good scope under $500.

Thanks

Chauncey

I put Athalon 3x9's on the 3 I built for my Grand-kids. It's not a long range cartridge. My grand kids live in Michigan's "shotgun" zone and these are legal to use for deer there. Sighted in with Hornady 165 gr. at 100 yards I could hold dead on out to 140 yards with a 4 inch drop.

Leupold has a VX-freedom with the .350 reticle. I had a Leupold 1.5-4 on my .350 and that worked great at any appropriate distance.

I will keep beating the Trijicon drum. You can get an Accupoint 3-9x40 and multiple power ranges of their new Huron line. I like my accu-whatevers and I'd personally try anyone of theses if I were in the market, especially the 2.5-10.

I'm a dude who likes long barrels!

I put a Sightmark Wraith on my 350 Legend for $499. It gives you night vision capability and can clearly see deer from 30 min before sunrise to 30 min after sunrise without the illuminator. Can video your shots and take photos which I really like. Daytime images are very clear with plenty of resolution out to any range that the 350 Legend can handle. The only real drawback is the weight. Its HEAVY, 36.3 oz.

I forgot one other drawback is the field of view even on lowest 4x magnification is small, I think its more like 6-7x magnification. It hasn't been a problem for me as I generally hunt from a stand.
