There were obviously fireworks going off in some of the videos. The fireworks clearly weren’t the only thing that exploded. The ammonium nitrate (especially 2700 tons) would do it. I’m not ruling out they theory that there were weapons stored there, but the fertilizer answer isn’t outlandish.


Anyone remember the fertilizer explosion in West a few years ago? Absolutely believe it was ammonium nitrate....which is also used in bomb making so there’s that too

My wife was in grade school in 1947 several miles away when the 1947 Texas City explosion happened. She said that it rained oil. They thought that World War Two had been revived. Her aunt Tina lived in Texas City and survived, but many didn't.
