It’s a fools bet if you’re holding out hope that college players and coaches don’t kneel. You’ll likely see some coaches, players, cheerleaders and band members kneeling. I suspect you’ll see some high profile coaches that take a knee.

This absolutely. I bet almost all big programs will kneel or do some sort of “protest”.

You keeping those seats for next year?

Nope, already canceled

College mentality people stand for the pledge?

I'd be surprised for those players, band members and cheerleaders who do choose to stand.

I'd suspect a number of coaches will stand, but not all.

This team is a joke. The only consistency is their lack of consistency (and complete lack of leadership).

Benn & Seguin are both immensely talented ... yet my 5-year old has more mental fortitude. Just look at how they carry themselves in the face of a little adversity.

I’m done giving them any more of my money for several reasons (on-ice product is the least of my concerns). I cancelled my seats this morning.

I guess the Stars lost again.

Mr. MeanGreen85, I'm just curious.
Did you cancel season's tickets because the Stars and coaches are showing they are not Cup worthy now, or because of the NHL's new acceptance of kneeling?

As stated, I'm just curious.

Have a great day Hunting Forum!

Lots of reasons to be honest.

#1) money, not worth the expense with next season’s uncertainty and the current economic market.
#2) time, I only made it to a handful of games last season thanks to my schedule & my kid’s extra-curriculars
#3) NHL’s choice to force “social justice“ reform down everyone’s throats. Don’t get me wrong, I am fully in support of racial equality. The way it’s forced down everyone’s throats to push political and economic agendas is BS though.

If all the above were not occurring, I’d be happy to shell out money to watch them lose in person lol.

My best hockey buddy and I got into a discussion about the Stars.

She asked if I was watching, and when I told her no, she said, "You're not watching because 2 players kneeled, and you're going to penalize the who team?"

I gave my view, and obviously she did not agree.

I take that back, she didn't comment long enough to agree or disagree. The subject changed.

The love for hockey and the Stars for those of us who were bit by the bug is powerful, but respect for the flag is more.
