My neighbor told me he put out several of these for his cattle but had several trail cam pictures of deer using them so he put one inside a feed pen by his corn and protein feeders. He said the deer were hammering it. Anyone experienced anything similarly? The packaging says it’s 25% protein and 10% fat. Any harm or benefit putting this out for the deer?

Not sure on what kind, but I have seen deer at the cattle supplement licks at our place. I know they come from Hudson Livestock Supplements located between San Angelo and Miles.
