The best hot sandwich I’ve ever had is at Jersey Mike’s in Katy. It’s an off menu sandwich called the JJ Watt, it’s awesome but if you order the large you won’t eat again for 2 days.

A breakfast sausage patty the size of a burger patty, fried along with an egg, stacked on Texas toast with lettuce tomato and pickles with melted chees to "cement" it all together.
