My insurance agent, his wife and daughter all tested positive. His symptoms were mild and the others even milder.

My friend who smoked and vaped for years is going to need breathing treatments after he gets over it. It really screwed his lungs up. The lady I know who died was older and was a smoker too.

I had it in Feb with relatively mild symptoms. I know one person in his mid 50's who got it and died in ICU two weeks after he first began having symptoms. His blood type was A.

I was told a second infection could be significantly worse, hence the reason Im extra careful.

Wife and I got it mid Feb. Lots of muscle pain in back and legs, fever. Over it in about 3-4 days. Lacked full energy for about a week following. We are both 59 and take no meds. Friend of my oldest daughter just got it in Austin about a week ago. Fully recovered.

Curious, what does blood type have to do with the price of a cup of tea in China?

There have been some studies that seem to indicate some blood types have a higher risk factor of contracting the virus.

Four now. Talked to my buddy tonight and even though his wife tested negative after 2 weeks of having it her taste and smell are still gone. Said it could be months to get back. Thats the worst that I know of. He can fart a lot I guess. Its very weird unlike the flu with no similar symptoms.

Anyway, still easy to go out to eat! No one is out but I am.

14 and all had different range of symptoms most lost sense of smell and taste. Others have breathing issues. No one has died yet but some say they thought they were going to. 2 are still in ICU. Just to add. I had to go into the ER with a non covid related problem. It was like a sci-fi movie. People lined up outside the ER and distanced. Masked up when we got there then they checked my temp and asked if I had symptoms of covid-19 then went down a checklist. They sent my wife home right away and did not let her go passed the first door. After I waited for the person in front of me to get processed the security guard let me in. The emergency room was nearly empty because if someone had covid symptoms they were moved to a different area. It was more than 8 hours to get into a room because they had to do the swab test and then either send you to the regular wing or isolation wing depending on your results. I stayed a 24 hours and the whole time i was to wear my mask while people in space suits came in and checked my vitals. The only time I removed my mask was for an endoscopy(once) and when I ate (once). When they moved me through the hospital I could see the tiredness in peoples eyes eyes. It was surreal to see people on there last leg with no visitors and the only people that had a visitor were the ones they were pulling the plug on. I know at least 2 across the area from where i was had something bad go on because I heard crying. It was a crazy experience for sure.

No close friends or family, but several people I work with at the hospital have contracted it. So far no hospitalizations or deaths from any of them.

Out of the 400+ positives we've diagnosed in our county, 32% had no symptoms, 17% mild symptoms, 50% moderate symptoms, and slightly less than 1% hospitalized and/or died.

It’s a physical health wake up call. If you are high risk then you are high risk for the flu also so take proper precautions. If you have let your health run a muck. I’d fix it

3 - A co-worker in our home office was down for about a week. Said it was the sickest he has been since he was a kid. He is early 60s, but not picture of health. An acquaintance of mine was one of the first in Texas to die of it. He was late 70s and living in a retirement community. And my best friend's son was diagnosed after being exposed by a co-worker of his. Early 20s and no symptoms other than slight fever and mild headache. He has since recovered and tested negative.
