We’re starting another batch of corn feeders that will be ready in the next few weeks. We can deliver to dfw, and same as we did last year if somebody wants to head up a 10 unit group buy and be the delivery hub then we can do 10% off on all feeders.

These feeders are tough. All of the sheet metal on these is 12 gauge, compared to 18-22 gauge on your typical silver big box feeder or 14-16 gauge on other shop built feeders. For the legs we use 2x2x3/16” angle iron and set them on 2.5 x 2.5 x 3/16” skids. The coon proof design uses 25” diameter plates with the motor mounted underneath, not in the bin like others. There isn’t a cord or wire anywhere in sight on these feeders, all is internally protected. For the finish we have them sandblasted and powdercoated for longevity.

Components include 12 volt motor & solar, and “THE Timer”. These feeders will still throw a 70’ diameter despite being so low to the ground. Overall height on 600# is 48”, the 1000# feeders are roughly 60”.

These are located in San Angelo, usually we can arrange a meet up between here and McKinney when we make a run to our dealer.

600# - $799
1,000# - $1149

These are good quality feeder. Hogs, cows or wind won’t touch them.

I headed up the group buy last year and it went well. Anybody that drops that much $ on a feeder and has paid in advance isn't going to let it set around your place long at all. Most of them were gone from my place within 24 hrs., a few were here a few days. Mine has been running almost a year with no issues. It's great to pull right up to and dump 12 bags of corn into a solid feeder that you don't have to put a fence around. The height is perfect, I'm 6' and it's easy to open the lid and dump the bags of corn into the opening. It slings corn about 70'Ø, I'm still on my first battery, corn stays dry. Coons, cattle and hogs figure out pretty quick there's not much point in trying to mess with this corn vault.

Thanks for the testimonial. I bought two last month and am looking forward to firing them up.

Shockingly, I had a heavy wind storm/possible tornado type storm and one of these feeders facing with the lid into the wind. Stupid on my part. The wind opened the lid, bent it just a smidge, ruined the timer unit, and soured what little corn was left (less than 20#).

For comparison, I have two other of these on my
Place and neither of those were hurt. I have a all seasons protein feeder which had the lid ripped off (somehow I found it within 100 feet of the feeder) and nearly 800# of protein was soured, and a bucees stand and fill corn slinger which was empty but got thrown into the fence and lid ripped off, timer unit was damaged, and battery was completely missing.

Was a good storm, and the moral of the story is buy one or more of these and keep the lid so it opens into the wind not down wind, and you will be fine.

Same storm blew in my neighbors west facing garage doors and sucked in his East facing garage doors. Was nasty. Lots of trees down

Put me down for ONE if anyone is willing to be the group leader. I got one last year and another a few weeks back. In my opinion, the best build (materials, welding and finish) quality available. I have some really good ones from other builders, but honestly these are in another class.

I would be interested in being in a group if somebody is going to be the group leader but the logistics for me may not work out
since I live way way North of DFW and hunt in the West Texas area around Childress. There are a lot of hunters out that way and
it would be nice if we could find somebody that travels to the San Angelo area for work that could get some for us. They look like
heavy duty type feeders and I personally like the feeders without the cages. (new design/technology)

thanks

I have had one for 4 years. Still original battery, changed out the timer once. Only thing on my lease that work as it should except for my Ramball quad pod that I have had for 5 years. Great stuff.

OK guys I found a hub right off 635/35 that can hold your feeders for you for pickup during business hours. Also, I have a place in Princeton that’s open on saturdays that can do the same. If you’re wanting one please shoot me a PM with your name and email address so I can reserve you one.

The skid version is solid if you are wanting one of those, I have both styles. There was approximately 600lbs of corn in the feeder when I drug it out of the river bottom to keep it from getting swamped. I drug it about 700yds to higher ground and you'd never know it.

Can two folks lift it out of a truck bed or do I need to grab a trailer to pick one up?

I have the 600 lb on skids. I used my ATV trailer and had no issues loading, unloading or placing it. It's heavy, solid and well built. It can be drug across the ground and slid out of a trailer easily. As mentioned, lifting it out of the back of a pick up bed would be easy for two, one person could tip it over and Jethro it up and in.

I unloaded my 600lb out of my truck by myself. Wouldn't want to load it back by myself though!
