Due to the gov’s mandate, I went shopping this morning with a mask around my neck, for when I went in the grocery store. But I went by the gunshop first. Wore the mask in there, the place was crowded, and I was the only person wearing a mask (including the cop). I was told that Limestone County was under 20 cases, so we didn’t need a mask. I said that I thought, from yesterday’s published data, that we had 56 cases. Nope, I was told, that’s 56 positive tests, but we only have 17 CONFIRMED cases. I did not know that there was an official difference.
Of course this wouldn’t matter to you DFW guys.

Yes, the media has been clearly reporting the numbers of those who test positive as being "active cases" because it makes the situation appear much worse. They've also been been making it a point not to report the number of daily new deaths. I think Harris County had six COVID deaths yesterday.
My dear old mom was exposed to TB as a child but never developed an active case of it. No one ever knew it until she was screened before moving into an assisted living center.

Thanks, Mike.
Does anyone here truly believe that is a health safety measure, and not a people control measure? Great googley moogley. Not one thing about this whole “pandemic” adds up, and people still believe this nonsense. Wake up!

I've never doubted that they were coming after Christian churches from the minute this whole debacle started. Perfect cover.

Went to the grocery store earlier. Wife and I were the only ones not wearing a mask. No one said a word.

Does anyone here truly believe that is a health safety measure, and not a people control measure? Great googley moogley. Not one thing about this whole “pandemic” adds up, and people still believe this nonsense. Wake up! I'm starting to think its just a big money grab for the hospitals, doctors and nurses. Whole lotta big OT $$$$s being paid. I just dont trust the posted numbers anymore.

Most medical people and hospitals/clinics are hurting because anything non-life threatening is closed. Many facilities will permanently close. Many nurses, techs, and admin folks in the medical field laid off.

Not one thing about this whole “pandemic” adds up, and people still believe this nonsense. Wake up! BTW, when swine flu hit years ago our church did stop the hand shaking and greeting. Was that someone controlling or just taking precautions? I hate that greeting crap anyway. My daughter got it and was sick for like 6 hours and I was in bed for a week. This is not the first rodeo but maybe over blown a little but it isn't going away like the flu did. Only time will tell. Just don't really see the conspiracy. Though my buddy I hung out with today is making hand over fist due to it.
