We had 3/4" last Saturday (6/20) and 4.5"+ wednesday (6/24) in Friday, Texas. We needed it. Mature trees were already dropping their leaves. Pine trees needles were turning brown. Ground was cracking. Only problem is I had to put my bridge building project on hold. Muddy clay just doesn't do well with feet. Worth every drop.
After watching the dust bowl on amazon last night, man I never want to go through that.
