 Chest freezer: replace or repair

I have a cheap magic chef freezer that I bought a couple years ago. It stopped working this weekend. Should it repair or replace. Repair will be around 150-200. Freezer was like $350 new.

Replace. 9 c.f.. at HD is around $200.

Replace, if you can (see ntx above).
Then take the old one and rip out all the mechanical parts and coils, rig a drain system put it on wheels and you have a great cooler for parties.

This ^^^^^ I replaced my small chest freezer with a larger upright and it's soo much easier to get things in and out.

A timer for that thing is probably $20.
Theres a youtube video showing how, guaranteed.
I've kept fridges and freezers for thirty years before replacing them.
